Human Trafficking and the LGBTQ+ Community

This presentation is designed for service providers looking to better serve the LGBTQ+ community. This training gives a brief overview of trafficking, then explores connections between LGBTQ+ youth and homelessness, sexual violence, and other risk factors for trafficking. We’ll explain some terms used in the LGBTQ+ community, red flags and indicators of trafficking, and end with some practical tips on how your agency can better serve the LGBTQ+ population.
