How Human Trafficking Affects the African American Community

This presentation will explore the ways that crafted stereotypes during the Transatlantic slave trade persist today, and influence structural racism. We will discuss various institutions and how racism creates barriers within various institutions. The African American community is also disproportionately affected by trafficking, and we will explain how and why.
