DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to have a booth and table at the 11th St. Market to increase awareness about human trafficking! Participants in the Red Sand Project will fill cracks in sidewalks with red sand and engage attendees at the market to do the same! The grains of sand are symbols of those individuals who fall through the cracks – whether the cracks of our social\, economic\, and political systems or those of our personal consciousness. We want to highlight and remember the human trafficking victims who fall through those cracks in the Greater Houston Area – the very ones we try each day to reach and help.
