Internal Medicine Grand Rounds – Human Trafficking

January 13, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

A Multidisciplinary Response from Recognition, Assessment to Healing Centered Engagement.

Objectives:

    • Describe dynamics of human trafficking violence and impact on health.
    • Discuss clinic-based trauma-informed strategies to address human trafficking.
    • Identify opportunities for intervention in clinical and community-based settings to increase resiliency and healing.

Parking:

You can receive validation of your ticket if you park in Entrance 6 Garage 2 (at the corner of Holcombe and Robert J.V. Johnson Avenue). It is very important for you to park in the correct garage. We cannot validate tickets from other garages. Take a ticket from the gate and bring it with you. We will validate your ticket at the registration table.

Upon entering the hospital, follow signs on the first floor to the green elevators/Chapel/Blood Center. When you arrive at the green elevators, take the elevator down to B1. When you get off the elevator on B1, turn to the right. Follow the hall straight ahead and you will arrive at the Denton A. Cooley Auditorium, which will be on your right.
